Cancellation
and changes
policy
For reservations from
may 1st
to november 30th:
If packaged tour is canceled, in whole or in part, 30 days or
more prior
to traveler´s arrival to Costa Rica, a 30% charge will apply to
the portion of
the trip that was canceled. There will be a 100% charge (of the
portion
of the trip that was canceled) if cancellation, in whole or in part,
occurs
within 29 or less days prior to traveler's arrival to Costa Rica.
Itinerary changes: If packaged tour is changed, in whole or in
part, 30
days or more prior to traveler's arrival to Costa Rica, a 30% charge
will apply
to the portion of the trip that was changed. There will be a 100%
charge
(on the portion of the trip that was changed) if change (in whole
or in
part) occurs within 29 days or less prior to traveler's arrival to
Costa
Rica. The traveler or travel agent can not request cancellations
or
changes once in Costa Rica.
For December, January,
February, March and April reservations:
There will be a 100% charge (of the portion of the trip that was
canceled) if
cancellation or changes, in whole or in part, occur at any time under
traveler´s or travel agent request.
Itinerary changes: there will be a 100% charge (on the portion of
the
trip that was changed) if change (in whole or in part) occur at any
time.
Cancellations and/or changes in any other way or timeline than as
stated in
this contract, will be charged at 100% and no refund will be applicable
unless
The Costa Rican Connection decides otherwise, in which case the
guidelines for
this new resolution shall be stated in writing.
The Costa Rican Connection reserves the right
to cancel or change any reservation, which could affect the company in
any way
(libel/ economical loss, or any other) or by suppliers request.
Cancellations
and/or changes must be stated in writing and to the attention of The
Costa
Rican Connection.
Payment policy
Full payment
is required
upon approval of final tour.
Price
The
traveler agrees to the price as indicated in this contract. All
prices are final.
Insurance
We recommend
that
travelers purchase short-term travel insurance covering baggage
loss, accident/life and trip cancellations. This is available through
many travel agencies and through leading insurance companies.
Documentation
Citizens
from countries
all over the world need a valid passport. It is the
responsibility of all those traveling to obtain information and
proper documentation. The Costa Rican Connection acceopts no
responsibility for changes in documetnation requirements or any
departure or entry denials. Passengers denied boarding for lack
of documentation will receive no refund. Travelers should
get information from a Costa Rican Consulate on proper documentation.
Schedule Changes and
Delays
All travel
itineraries
are based on the best information available at the time of
confirmation. Due to the nature of international travel changes to
schedules and itineraries may be necessary and may also prevent some
of the scheduled activities to be completed. No refunds can be given
for such elimination. We do not accept economic and civil
responsibilities for losses or accidental expenses due to changes or
delays in airline or hotel overbooking, defaults, weather, strikes,
war, riots, theft, acts of nature, vandalism, medical and
hospitalization expenses or any other causes not within the power of
The Costa Rican Connection. All such losses or expenses are the
responsibility and are assumed by the traveler.
Responsibility
All
travel documents and
vouchers by The Costa Rican Connection are subject to terms and
conditions by the supplier. The traveler agrees that the
responsibility of The Costa Rican Connection is only to make
reservations for accommodations, activities and transport as indicated
in
this contract. The traveler agrees that The Costa Rican Connection,
it’s agents, affiliates and employees, shall not be liable for any
damages or losses incurred, or any other causes not within the power
of The Costa Rican Connection. We do not accept economic and civil
responsibilities for losses or accidental expenses due to hotel
overbooking, defaults, weather, strikes, sickness, war, riots, theft,
acts of nature, vandalism, medical hospitalization expenses or any
other cause not within the power of The Costa Rican Connection. All
such losses or expenses are within the responsibility and are
assumed by the traveler. All participants expressly wave any and all
rights which one might have against The Costa Rican Connection and
its agents caused by the negligence of such persons in connection
with foregoing. Under no circumstances is Costa Rican Connection to
be construed as a carrier or common carrier under contract for safe
passage of the traveler or for luggage and/or belongings. By
enrolling in and tendering payment for any and all services
participants agree to accept and agree to be bound by the terms and
conditions on this contract. No other than an agent of The Costa
Rican Connection, by document in writing, is authorized to waive or
alter any condition with foregoing.
The
Costa Rican Connection
is not
liable for the activities engaged in by a client in Costa Rica. All
transportation, tourist attractions and activities are entered into
of clients wishes and therefore the client assumes all risk of loss
or bodily injury.

This agreement is
governed by and
construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Colorado.

This agreement cannot be
changed
orally, but only by instrument in writing, signed by both parties.
