Water Rafting at the Pacuare
River
Pacuare
River provides an adventurous rafting
trip through stunning natural surroundings. The river runs from the
country’s
highest mountains down to the coastal lowlands of the Atlantic, strait
through
one of Costa Rica’s most important protected areas. These jungles are
still
inhabited by the Cabecar Indians, whose dwellings are spaced apart over
large
distances in the traditional way of their people.

Today we will
transfer you to Arenal Volcano and we will be staying at Hotel Arenal
Lodge. This Lodge is the perfect place to have
a stunning view of the Arenal Volcano.
Relax and enjoy the view from the swimming
pool or where you feel more
comfortable... listen to the eruptions that are happening all day long.

Days 6 - 8

Today we will fly to
Peninsula de Osa and stay at Hotel Jinetes de Osa.
Splendidly isolated in a tiny
community Hotel Jinetes de Osa is a
friendly beachside retreat one hour boat ride down the jungle lined
banks of
the Sierpe River. The Peninsula de Osa is one of the most remote
regions in Costa Rica and the abundant tropical rainforest will amaze
you during your stay at Jinetes de Osa. |

Caño Island contains some
of the most
abundant and varied marine life in the world.
These artifacts can be explored on several hikes
through the lush tropical vegetation. The perfectly spherical stones
are
believed to have once marked an offshore burial ground and ceremonial
site for
the indigenous Diquis tribe who inhabited the Golfo Dulce area until
the
arrival of the Spanish. |

On day 9 we will
transfer you to the Hotel Garden Court. The next day
you will be picked up at the hotel to be transfered to Juan Santamaria
Intl Airport, ending here your trip to Costa Rica.
