Day One -We receive you at the Juan Santamaria International Airport and then transfer you to Holiday Inn Express, conveniently located by the airport. You can relax, have something to eat, enjoy the pool as you wait the next day for the fun to start!
Day Two -Early in the morning we transfer you to the Pacuare River, considered one of the five best places for white water rafting in the world. You will enjoy lunch at the riverside to later continue your tour river down.
Day Three -We transfer you to Monteverde and accommodate you at Hotel El Sapo Dorado. Monteverde has one of Costa Rica's most beautiful cloud forests. El Sapo Dorado is a beautiful hotel that blends in with the surroundings. Its rooms, made out of local woods are charming and very comfortable.
Day Four -On this day we will pick you up at the hotel and take you for a great adventure. The Sky Trek allows you to soar through the canopy from treetop to treetop and experience jungle life from a perperspective no other place can offer. The Sky Walk is a combination of suspension bridges and platforms built at the top of the canopy where you can walk and explore the forest at your own pace.
Day Five -We transfer you by horse, yes... by horse, from Monteverde to Arenal. First we pick you up at Hotel El Sapo Dorado and then ride all the way to Arenal on your new equine friend!
In Arenal, home of Costa Rica's only volcano with lava flow, we have reserved accommodations for you at Arenal Lodge.
Day Six -This day is reserved for biking. We start our bike tour by riding across a country road called "The Old Trail" towards Arenal Volcano National Park and El Castilla area. On this country road, during our expedition you will be allowed plenty of time to observe the magnificent views of Arenal Volcano. While crossing the tropical rainforest, we will let you explore the sights and enjoy the great variety of flora and fauna and hear the great sounds of nature around you.
Day Seven -This day is reserved for canyoning. Your trip begins with a 30 minute 4x4 drive to a tropical rainforest outside the town of La Fortuna. We then trek through the forest on magical trails that lead to some of the most spectacular waterfalls in Costa Rica, a place very few people get to experience. When we arrive at the waterfalls we will rappel from the top down into the beautiful prestine canyon below.
Day Eight -Transfer to Juan Santamaria International Airport. This is a 4 hour drive aprox., therefore, we recommend you to book your flight having in consideration that you also need to be at the airport 3 hours before daparture time.
